2017-2018 Tuition Aid Application Process
Aid applications for the 2017-18 school year will be processed by FACTS Management who recently acquired our long-time aid vendor Private School Aid Service (PSAS). Families applying for tuition aid in Catholic schools within the Diocese of Pittsburgh may do so by using the online link below.
Students are evaluated for each grant program whose criteria they meet. A Pastor Signature Sheet (link below) must be submitted by Catholic families to be considered for grants from the Bishop’s Education Fund. Other grant programs include funding from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) and Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC) programs.

The application fee for 2017-18 is $25. (Applicants may see a higher fee on the FACTS introductory information screens. If so, this can be disregarded.) The application deadline, unless an exception is made for extenuating circumstances, is March 31, 2017.
Please use the chart below to determine whether your family qualifies for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) and Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC) programs. Families exceeding these guidelines, while not excluded from applying for assistance from the Bishop’s Education Fund, are unlikely to demonstrate enough financial need to qualify for a grant.
