The staff of the diocesan tribunal is here to assist those who are interested in entering into a marriage in the Church after being previously married. Be assured of our concern, our prayers, and of our desire to help you move forward in life and in your relationship with Jesus, His Church and the sacraments. We hope you find the information in these pages helpful.
The Tribunal of the Diocese of Pittsburgh works with those who were previously married to see if it is possible to clear a path to a new marriage in the Church. A declaration of nullity (an annulment) is necessary for the Church to recognize any subsequent marriage.
On this page you may access a schedule of upcoming information nights, an explanation of how to start an annulment and the process for a case, as well as answers to frequently asked questions.
For more information or to initiate a case please call 412-456-3033.
The Tribunal also accepts general and case specific questions regarding the annulment process and procedures at firstname.lastname@example.org
Directly below is the application for an annulment. Please complete this electronic document and return via e-mail to email@example.com
