World Languages

In a world that is diminishing daily because of technology and interdependence, knowledge and interest in other countries and their languages can bring people together.  Enhancement of communication, expanding career opportunities, and community building are some of the outcomes of a well-structured world language program.  Schools are encouraged to offer students the opportunity to study a world language to help meet the needs and demands of the 21st Century.  Because the Church is universal and embraces all peoples regardless of race, nationality and financial status, the Catholic school should provide leadership in the study of a second language.
