John F. Kennedy Catholic School is seeking an administrative assistant. The administrative assistant is responsible for performing the administrative and secretarial duties of the school.

Qualifications

Must successfully complete background checks and training applicable to Diocesan, State, and Federal requirements

Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

Must have experience in a school or office setting.

Excellent communication skills

Able to multitask and prioritize work for accomplishment in a timely manner

Responsibilities

Support and uphold the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school.

Prepares emails, letters, memos, mass mailings, reports, and other documentation as requested.

Manage the school student information system and fundraising data base

Maintain records, securing substitutes; maintain inventory and distribution of keys and badges; and performing other duties.

The position provides administrative support in a professional manner that complies with confidentiality requirements. It is important to be highly organized, detail-oriented, and must possess strong character and be a team player.
