Administrative Assistant – Office of the Diaconate
Applications are now being accepted for the position of Administrative Assistant in the Office of the Diaconate of the Diocese of Pittsburgh. This is a full-time position located at the Diocese of Pittsburgh Pastoral Center. This position provides administrative support for the Office of the Diaconate by working independently as well as a team member with other staff to facilitate the efficient operations of the department using organizational, problem-solving, technical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Qualifications for the Administrative Assistant position include:
High School Degree or equivalent;
Minimum of two (2) years’ of administrative office experience;
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures;
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office;
Knowledge of database management is preferred;
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail;
Good telephone and interpersonal skills;
Maintain professional demeanor in dealings with others;
Familiarity with general accounting/bookkeeping;
Effective time management skills;
Ability to protect confidential information.
