Job Description Part time position providing administrative support for the Parish office located at 200 Walnut Street, Sewickley, PA
Responsibilities
Works independently as well as collaborates with Manager for the efficient operations of the front office
Greeting visitors who call in-person or on the phone
Weekly entry of parishioner donations into database
Intake of liturgical requests
Scheduling the use of parish facilities
Recording of sacraments in the formal register books
Processing of canonical marriage papers
Help in the processing of parish mailings
Help organize staff functions
General filing and archival support
Qualifications
High School Degree or equivalent
Minimum of two (2) years’ of administrative office experience
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred
Knowledge of database management a plus
Good telephone and interpersonal skills
Affable, welcoming and collaborative personality
Effective time management skills
Ability to protect confidential information
