Bishop Zubik announces the following clergy appointment:
 
PASTOR:

The Reverend Brian W. Noel from Spiritual Director to the students at Saint Paul Seminary, Director of Pastoral Formation and part-time Chaplain to the students and staff of Bishop Canevin High School to Pastor of Divine Redeemer Parish, Sewickley/Aleppo, effective when the current restrictions of the pandemic are lifted in both the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Virginia.  In the interim, the Very Reverend Howard W. Campbell, Regional Vicar of Vicariate 3, maintains his responsibilities as Administrator ( Pro-Tem) of Divine Redeemer Parish, Sewickley/Aleppo.
 
SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT:

The Reverend Steven V. Neff from Senior Parochial Vicar to the parishes of Saint Alphonsus, Boyers/Murrinsville/West Sunbury; Saint Christopher, Prospect; and Saint Peter, Slippery Rock; to Spiritual Director in the internal forum to the students at Saint Paul Seminary, with residence at Saint Paul Seminary, effective July 1, 2020. 
 
RETIREMENT:

In accordance with the provisions of the Priest Personnel Policy and at his request, the Reverend Nicholas M. Mastrangelo has been granted permission to begin retirement effective April 6, 2020.  Father Mastrangelo will maintain residence at Saint Therese of Lisieux Parish, Munhall.
