Data and Systems Director Applications are currently being accepted for the position of Data and Systems Director in the Department of Catholic Schools in the Secretariat for Catholic Schools of the Diocese of Pittsburgh. This is a full-time, exempt position located at the Diocese of Pittsburgh Pastoral Center. Overview: The Data and Systems Director oversees the development, implementation, and management of data systems across all diocesan Catholic schools and within the Department of Catholic Schools. This position ensures the integrity, accuracy, and security of student and staff information, operational data, and educational technology platforms. This position works collaboratively with school administrators, diocesan leadership, and external vendors to optimize data usage for decision-making, reporting, and improving educational outcomes. Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in data management, information systems, education administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). ● Minimum of three (3) – five (5) years of experience in data management, systems oversight, or IT in an educational setting. ● Strong proficiency in student information systems (SIS), learning management systems (LMS), and data analysis tools. ● Familiarity with FERPA, data privacy laws, and best practices in educational data management. ● Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills. ● Ability to work collaboratively and provide training to staff at various levels of technological proficiency. ● Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
