Christ the King Parish, located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh, serves the communities of Aspinwall, Blawnox, Fox Chapel, O’Hara and Sharpsburg. It supports a vibrant community committed to growing in the Catholic faith. Currently, there is a Director of Faith Formation. Individuals interested in applying must have the minimum of an undergraduate degree in the study of theology or religious studies. A Master’s degree is preferred. Additionally, candidates should have administrative experience in overseeing a program that collaborates with parish staff and catechists and impacts children, teen-agers, parents and other ministry opening for adults.

The Director of Faith Formation is responsible for the on-going development and direction of a comprehensive K-8 Family Faith Formation Program, which includes preparation for the sacraments of First Eucharist, Reconciliation and Confirmation. This person must have good telephone and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Business Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and PowerPoint). Familiarity with Flocknote is also essential.
