Director of Music, Full time, Saint Aidan Parish, Wexford

St. Aidan Parish in Wexford, PA, invites applications for the position of Full-time Director of Music.  St. Aidan is a large suburban parish comprised of two worship sites, St. Alphonsus and St. Alexis, as well as host to the regional school, Blessed Francis Seelos Academy.  The Director of Music will oversee all musical aspects of parish liturgical events, including six weekend Masses, Solemnities, Feasts, Funerals, Weddings and special occasions. Responsibilities include directing Parish Adult and Children's choirs, directing and training cantors, supervising assistant organists, accompanying monthly school Masses and scheduling all music ministers. Candidates should demonstrate a deep knowledge of Catholic liturgy and repertoire (Gather Hymnal/OCP & GIA Standard Hymns), and exceptional proficiency in keyboard playing, and conducting.
