Duties:- Meet with Facilities Manager to review work schedules and priorities
- Review, schedule and complete all Maintenance requests from parish staff
- Open buildings needed for the day and ready buildings for occupancy
- Make basic repairs/replacement, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC
- Establish a list, schedule and complete MUST Do maintenance projects - Building exterior drains clearing, fixture bulb and ballast replacements, lawn cutting, leaf control, shrub cutting, snow removal and salting, plumbing repairs.
- Establish a list of on-going maintenance issues and projects
- Work with volunteers and parish groups, as needed to arrange facility and utility needs
- Work with contracted services, mainly HVAC, electrical and plumbing as needed
- Moves and transports furniture, books and miscellaneous items among buildings
- Perform regular walk through of all campus areas and buildings. Note deficiencies and make plans for correction
- Notify Pastor and Facilities Manager of actual or possible major repairs
- Work with County and Township Code Enforcement officials to meet current building codes as required
- Work with custodial staff to facilitate building cleaning
- Set up facilities for parish events
- 21 Years of age
- Complete safe environment training and background check
- Must have working knowledge of equipment operation
- Plumbing, electrical and carpentry, HVAC skills preferred
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid PA Driver’s License
- Ability to work independently and without direct supervision
- Ability to move, load and unload equipment and supplies weighing 35 pounds or more
- Able to bend, stoop, squat and reach
