The Reverend Jack E. Demnyan from Graduate Studies to Canonical Consultant in the Office of the Tribunal and weekend assistance at Saint Paul Cathedral Parish, Greenfield/ Hazelwood/Oakland with residence at Saint Paul Cathedral.

The Reverend James R. Gretz is appointed to serve as a part-time Adjunct Professor of Theology at Saint Vincent Seminary, effective July 1, 2024. At the same time, Father Gretz maintains his assignment as Pastor, Saint Matthew Parish, Etna/Glenshaw/Millvale/ Reserve.

Retirement

The Reverend Pierre M. Falkenhan, Jr. from Senior Parochial Vicar of Saint John XXIII Parish, Finleyville/Jefferson Hills/Peters Township to retirement with residence at Saint John Vianney Manor. Additionally, Father Falkenhan will serve as State Chaplain for the Knights of Columbus for a term of two years, effective July 1, 2024, and continue to serve as the Spiritual Director of the Knights of Columbus Bishop’s Project.

The Reverend James R. Orr from Team Member of the Shrines of Pittsburgh, Saint Patrick-Saint Stanislaus Kostka Parish, Strip District, Saint Nicholas Parish, Millvale, Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish, Troy Hill, and Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, Polish Hill, to retirement with residence at his private home.

The Reverend Louis F. Pascazi from Senior Parochial Vicar at Saint Clare of Assisi Parish, Carbon Center/Chicora/North Oakland and Saint Francis of Assisi Parish, Cabot/ Coylesville/Herman, to retirement with residence at Saint John Vianney Manor.

In Residence

The Reverend Peter Claver Mawanda from in residence at Mary, Queen of Peace Parish, Mount Washington/South Side, to residence at Epiphany Rectory of Divine Mercy Parish, City Center. At the same time, Father Mawanda will continue his ministry as part-time Institutional Chaplain serving at the Allegheny County Jail.
