SPECIAL ASSIGNMENTS
The Very Reverend Joseph E. Sioli from Episcopal Regional Vicar of the South Vicariate, to Episcopal Vicar for Clergy and Consecrated Life and Director of the Department for Post-Ordination Formation, effective Thursday, December 1, 2022. Father Sioli will maintain his residence at Saint Louise de Marillac site of Saint Catherine Labouré Parish, Upper Saint Clair.
The Reverend David G. Poecking from Pastor of Archangel Gabriel Parish, Kennedy/McKees Rocks/Robinson, to Regional Vicar of the South Vicariate of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, effective Thursday, December 1, 2022. Father Poecking is assigned residence at Saint Michael the Archangel Parish, Dormont/Mount Lebanon/Scott. The South Vicariate Office will remain at the Saint Germaine site of Our Lady of Hope Parish, Bethel Park.

Bartel, OSB, Archabbot of Saint Vincent Archabbey, the Reverend Canice McMullen, OSB, from Parochial Vicar at Mary, Queen of Saints Parish, Aliquippa/Center/Hopewell/Monaca, to Pastor at Mary, Queen of Saints Parish, Aliquippa/Center/Hopewell/Monaca, effective Monday, November 1, 2022 for a term of six years.
RETIREMENT
In accordance with the provisions of the Priest Personnel Policy, the Reverend George A. Moneck is relieved from his leave of absence for health reasons, effective Friday, November 11, 2022. Fr. Moneck has been granted permission to begin retirement and will continue to live in a private residence.
In accordance with the provisions of the Priest Personnel Policy, the Very Reverend Benedetto P. Vaghetto is relieved of his responsibilities as Judicial Vicar, effective Monday, January 2, 2023. At the same time, Father Vaghetto has been granted permission to begin retirement and has arranged for a private residence.
CHAPLAIN
The Reverend Thomas J. Gramc is relieved of his assignment as Chaplain to the Knights of Columbus, Council 17239, effective October 10, 2022.
The Reverend Brian J. Welding is assigned as Chaplain to the Knights of Columbus Council 17239 for a period of two years, effective October 10, 2022.
RELEASED FROM ASSIGNMENT-RELIGIOUS
At the presentation of the Right Reverend Martin R. Bartel, OSB, Archabbot of Saint Vincent Archabbey, the Reverend Jean-Luc Zadroga, OSB, is relieved of his diocesan appointment as Administrator of Mary, Queen of Saints Parish, Aliquippa/Center/Hopewell/Monaca, effective Monday, November 1, 2022. Fr. Zadroga returns back to Saint Vincent Monastery, Latrobe.
