Part-time Youth Minister Position - Our Lady of the Valley Parish

Responsibilities:

Serve the high school youth through prayer, study, retreats, service projects, social events, fundraising, and trips/pilgrimages. The youth minister is expected to visit Catholic High Schools to encourage participation. This person is also expected to interact with Saints Peter and Paul School to recruit those in 8^th grade and help them transition into High School Youth Ministry.
Qualifications:

¨ Strong adult faith formation and ability to convey the faith.
¨ A college degree and/or certification in youth ministry is required.
¨ Excellent youth recruiter, with a dynamic personality for attracting youth.
¨ A love for youth and the ability to relate well with them, in touch with the times.
¨ Highly skilled in current technology to connect with youth.
¨ Available to work primarily evenings and weekends.
¨ Complete Diocesan Safe Environment requirements.
