Are you looking for a parish leadership position that would be both challenging and rewarding? Mary Queen of Peace parish in Pittsburgh PA is searching for a pastoral leader and strategic thinker who can assist in pastoral life, as well as manage operations, employees and volunteers.
The work is comprehensive, related to all aspects of parish life, particularly areas of administrative management and leadership. At the same time, the Pastoral Associate has designated responsibilities, dependent upon the needs of the parish, the background, experience, education, and abilities of the Pastoral Associate, as well as the responsibilities of the other members of the pastoral staff.
Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in business management, leadership, theology, pastoral studies, or related field. A Master’s degree and 3-5 years in a leadership position is preferred. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office. A working knowledge of Quicken and other accounting and database programs is a bonus. This self-motivated, detailed individual will have a sense of vision, urgency and the proven ability to motivate, mentor and supervise both staff and volunteers.
