Catholic Parish Cemeteries Association is seeking to fill a full time Payroll Administrator position at our Allegheny Office location in the West End of Pittsburgh. We operate and maintain 114 parish cemeteries within the Diocese of Pittsburgh. Our organization works closely with the parish families we serve. Our offices are fast paced. We all work together to promote a positive work environment. The qualified candidate would make sure that employees are paid correctly and on time. Perform all activities necessary to process one or more payrolls, including maintaining related records, filing tax reports, preparing accounting transactions and documents, and preparing special reports for management. Knowledge and Skills:
Strong skills using and understanding the flow of transactions in an integrated and automated accounting system.
ADP Workforce Now software experience is helpful.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
Excellent problem solving /judgement skills, and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and under pressure.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines. ✓ Administers Open Enrollment annually for all employees.
Administers On Boarding procedure for new hires.
