Regional Coordinator (Book Keeper, Tuition Management)
Primary Functions: Under the direction of the Regional Business Manager, the Regional Coordinator is responsible for performing various duties, including but not limited to: bookkeeping, tuition management, and other duties as assigned. This will encompass multiple campuses within S.R.C.E.S.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the Catholic Church’s spiritual and pastoral mission
Record weekly collections and other cash receipts from various school campuses
Perform balance sheet and other reconciliations as necessary
Maintain YTD Budgetary Records
Assist with financial aspects of SRCES fundraisers as required
Process payments to vendors and others, maintain vendor files
Work collaboratively with each school principal and supporting staff; provide information and support as requested
Ensure the existence of a verifiable audit trail for all financial transactions
Assist with the development of best practices to help with regional success
Assist with Tuition Management and ensure student accounts are up to date
Perform other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements: Requires coordination and manual dexterity, normal mental and visual ability, ability to lift as required in a typical office environment.
Required Activities: Walking, sitting, standing, stooping, reaching, talking, hearing, carrying, and keyboarding. Basic Qualifications:
Must have a working knowledge of and a solid commitment to the Diocese of Pittsburgh’s mission and must be in full communion with the Catholic Church.
Excellent communications skills, verbal and written; excellent human relations and interpersonal skills
Exercise courtesy to fellow employees, parents, and the general public
Must be a self-starter; well organized; perform multiple tasks simultaneously, and work with a sense of urgency
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; punctuality is a must at all times; ability to travel locally as required; occasional weekend and overtime work may be required
Proficiency in computer technology to include word-processing, spreadsheets, and 10-key calculator.
Professional bearing; clean and neat personal appearance
Ability to successfully pass a background and criminal history check

Education and Experience:
Minimum Requirement
Associate degree or equivalent experience. Preferred - Bachelor degree in finance or accounting
2 years experience as a bookkeeper or accountant in a medium to a large non-profit or equivalent experience
Ideal Candidate
Experience in the use of Quicken or similar accounting software
Working Knowledge of Tuition Management
Knowledge of both WindowsOS and MacOS
Benefits
Pay: $12.00- $22.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications) | Full Time - Non-Exempt
