Social Media Coordinator Job Description: Vagabond Missions is looking for an experienced Social Media Coordinator who can skillfully manage social media vectors to increase engagement, grow followers, help drive traffic, and expand brand awareness of Vagabond Missions nationwide. Successful candidates are self-starters who ‘eat, sleep, breathe, and talk’ the concepts of social media across current and emerging platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, SnapChat, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube among others. The person will work with our administrative team to create content that tells the story of Vagabond Missions and shows the heart of our ministry to teens, potential missionaries, and donors. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
Direct experience or familiarity using social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprinklr)
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
Experience with Adobe Crea ve Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools a plus
Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools
Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and HTML
Strong copywri ng and copy-editing skills
Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills
Impeccable me management skills with the ability to multitask
Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Job Responsibilities:
Execute a results-driven social media strategy.
Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
Assist in the crea on and editing of written, video, and photo content.
A end events and produce live social media content.
Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
Create and maintain a social media calendar.
Monitor social media channels for ministry and church trends.
Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
Review analytics and create reports on key metrics.
Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy.

Work a 40 hour work week with a set, but flexible, schedule, ie. 8 am – 5 pm, 9 am – 6 pm, etc.
This is a support raised position; The employee will be offered a comprehensive training in effective support-raising for faith-based non-for-profits.
12.5 days of vacation in year one; 10 sick days
