Spanish Teacher Job Summary

St. Bede and St. Therese of Lisieux schools  are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Spanish Teacher to join our faculty. Our ideal candidate can speak and write fluently in Spanish and can get students excited about learning the language in the classroom. The candidate  will develop a well-rounded curriculum that enables students to read and write in Spanish, as well as speak both formally and conversationally. Cultural studies should be integrated throughout the curriculum to give students perspective on the history and development of the language. The candidate  must have a valid teaching certificate in Pa  to apply for this full time position shared between the two schools. 

Spanish Teacher Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach students the Spanish language, including grammar and vocabulary
• Design curriculum lesson plans
• Assign coursework and administer tests
• Grade assignments
• Incorporate classroom learning activities
• Follow all school policies

Spanish Teacher Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Spanish or Spanish culture
• PA teaching certification 
• Fluency in the Spanish language
• Communication skills
• All clearances in place 
• Proficiency in basic computer programs
