Bishop Zubik went in on time for surgery Monday morning and the procedure lasted two hours. The surgeon found that the tear in his left shoulder was more significant than anticipated, but it was still able to be repaired.
Overall, the Bishop’s recovery time remains the same as anticipated: his left arm will be incapacitated for approximately six weeks with a view to full recovery within six to eight months, assisted by regular physical therapy.
He is expected home later today. Please continue to keep Bishop Zubik in your prayers for a full recovery.
