The Eucharistic Revival calls every Catholic across the United States to rekindle the fire of love and devotion for the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus.
Over three years, every Catholic diocese, parish, school, apostolate, and family is invited to be a part of renewing the Church by enkindling a living relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist.
This revival launched in our diocesen on the Feast of Corpus Christi, June 19, 2022, with noon Mass and procession at Saint Paul Cathedral celebrated by Bishop David Zubik.
Over the next three years, dioceses will host Eucharistic Congresses and processions. All of this will culminate in the first National Eucharistic Congress in the United States in almost fifty years. From July 17-21, 2024, thousands of Catholics will journey on pilgrimage to Indianapolis to personally encounter Jesus in the Eucharist and be sent back out into their parishes and communities.
On June 19, 2022, the feast of Corpus Christi, the opening Mass and procession of the Eucharistic Revival was held at Saint Paul Cathedral.

Bishop Waltersheid offers some beautiful opportunities and explains how the Eucharistic Revival can help us deepen our devotion to Jesus in the Eucharist.
"To renew the Church by enkindling a living relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist."
"A movement of Catholics across the United States, healed, converted, formed, and unified by an encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist—and sent out in mission 'for the life of the world.'"
In this new online course on the Eucharist, hosted by Bishop Andrew Cozzens, you will learn:
Soul of Christ, sanctify me.
Body of Christ, save me.
Blood of Christ, inebriate me.
Water from the side of Christ, wash me.
Passion of Christ, strengthen me.
O good Jesus, hear me
Within thy wounds, hide me.
Suffer me not to be separated from Thee.
From the malignant Enemy, defend me.
In the hour of my death, call me.
And bid me come to Thee.
That with Thy saints I may praise Thee.
Forever and ever. Amen.
By St. Thomas More
My Lord Jesus Christ, who, for the love You bear us, remain night and day in this Sacrament, full of compassion and love, awaiting, calling and welcoming all who come to visit You, I believe that You are present in the Sacrament of the Altar. I adore You from the abyss of my nothingness, and I thank You for all of the graces that You have given to me until now, and in particular, for having given me Yourself in this Sacrament, for having given me Your Most Holy Mother Mary as my advocate and for having called me to visit You in this church.
I now salute Your Most Loving Heart, and this for three ends: first, in thanksgiving for this great gift; second, to make amends to You for all the outrages which You receive in this Sacrament from all Your enemies; third, I intend by this visit to adore You in all the places on earth in which You are the least revered and most abandoned.
My Jesus, I love You with my whole heart. I grieve for having until now so many times offended Your infinite goodness. I propose, by Your grace, never more to offend You for the time to come; and now, miserable and unworthy though I am, I consecrate myself to You without reserve. I give You and renounce my entire will, my affections, my desires, and all that I possess. From now on, use me and all that I have as You wish. All I ask of You and desire is Your holy love, final perseverance, and the perfect accomplishment of Your will.
I recommend to You the souls in Purgatory; but especially those who had the greatest devotion to the Most Blessed Sacrament and to the Most Blessed Virgin Mary. I also recommend to You all poor sinners.
And finally, my dear Savior, I unite all my affections with the affections of Your Most Loving Heart, and I offer them with You to Your Eternal Father and beg Him for Your sake and for love of You graciously to accept and grant them.
Give me, good Lord, a full faith and a fervent charity, a love of you, good Lord, incomparably above the love of myself; and that I love nothing to your displeasure but everything in an order to you.
Take from me, good Lord, this lukewarm fashion, or rather cold manner of meditation and this dullness praying to you. And give me warmth, delight and life in thinking about you. And give me your grace to long for your holy sacraments and specially to rejoice in the presence of your blessed Body, sweet Savior Christ, in the Holy Sacrament of the Altar, and duly to thank you for your precious coming.
My most kind Jesus, I desire during this hour to" watch" with You, and by the love of my poor heart to console You for the bitter sorrow which overwhelmed You in the Garden of Gethsemane. I desire to forget myself and all that concerns me excepting my sins, the foresight of which caused You so much suffering in Your agony, and as I was the cause of sorrow to You then, so now I desire to be to You a consolation.… I offer You, moreover, this hour of prayer and reparation for the triumph of the Church, for the conversion of souls and nations, and for every other intention for which You did pray, sweat blood, endure Your agony, and accept Your bitter passion and death. Angel of the agony, help me so to pass this Holy Hour that I may console the Heart of my Jesus and promote His interests throughout the world.
By Pope John XXIII
O Jesus, present in the sacrament of the altar, teach all the nations to serve you with willing hearts, knowing that to serve God is to reign. May your sacrament, O Jesus, be light to the mind, strength to the will, joy to the heart. May it be the support of the weak, the comfort of the suffering, the wayfaring bread of salvation for the dying and for all the pledge of future glory. Amen.
