Come Discover Vatican II

What is Vatican II? What did it teach and why does it matter to Catholics today? What is the essence of Scripture and the Mass, the role of the laity, and the nature of the Church herself?

These topics and more will be discussed at Discover Vatican II, a free, one-day event hosted by Saint Matthew Parish on Saturday, November 4, from 9-3:30, at the All Saints Church Activities Bldg., 19 Wilson Street in Etna, PA.

The conference will feature in-depth analysis of the Second Vatican Council’s four main documents, led by prominent Catholic speakers, including Rev. James R. Gretz, Judene Indovina, Dr. Michel Therrien, and Dr. Petroc Willey. A complimentary lunch will be served and the day will conclude with a Q&A session with our expert panel.
