Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration

St. Paul Cathedral will present a Zoom celebration to commemorate the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on January 16, 2022 from 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm via Zoom.  
 

The Jazz Mass “Our Father” will open the program.  Father Mathew Hawkins will introduce the agenda and offer a few observations on the significance of Dr. King and how Catholics can embrace his mission.

Keynote speaker Esther Bush will present remarks honoring Dr. King’s legacy and ongoing efforts to continue the quest for an equitable and fair society.   The elementary school poster and essay contest winners will be announced.  The essay winners will read their short essays written on the theme: "Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.: 'Never Give Up the Dream.'"
