Leonard J. DeLorenzo, Ph.D., works in the McGrath Institute for Church Life and teaches theology at the University of Notre Dame. He is the author of four books and editor of two others on topics like the communion of saints, the craft of sharing stories of grace, Dante and the beauty of the human person, and discernment. His most recent book is A God Who Questions, which leads readers through a spiritual pilgrimage of 20 different questions that Jesus asks throughout the Gospels. Dr. DeLorenzo speaks regularly on such themes as the Catholic imagination, the witness of the saints, character development and its challenges in the modern world, and the hard work of making lifelong commitments. Originally from New Jersey but raised in Southern California, Dr. DeLorenzo now lives in South Bend, Indiana, with his wife, Lisa, and their six children.
