St Paul Cathedral will celebrate a Mass for Peace and Justice and remember Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, ahead of the national holiday in his honor on January 18.
This is a time to pray for a world that protects and defends every human life; sees the value and worth of every human being; and does not tolerate racism, prejudice, bigotry or hatred.
At 2:00 pm, the Race & Reconciliation Dialogue Group of Saint Paul Cathedral Parish, which seeks to build bridges of unity, reconciliation, respect, and love among all people, will offer its annual Martin Luther King, Jr. program via Zoom. The theme of the 2021 celebration is: The Dream Lives On Through Us.
Young liturgical dancers will perform the Our Father followed by a talk by the Honorable Dwayne Woodruff. The winners of the essay and poster contest in St. Mary Magdalene Parish’s CCD Classes will present their entries. This contest centered on the event theme.
All are welcome to attend this virtual program. To obtain the Zoom link, email:
