Mass of Remembrance for Pope Francis

There will be a Mass of Remembrance for Pope Francis at All Saints Parish, St. Peter Church, 127 Franklin Street, Butler, on Friday, April 25, at 6:30pm.

As much as we rejoiced in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ this past Sunday, along with being uplifted by seeing Pope Francis make a public appearance in Rome, we were saddened to hear of his death on Easter Monday.

During this Easter Season, and in the Jubilee Year of Hope, it is only appropriate to remember Pope Francis at St. Peter Church, named for the first pope, and one of the six churches in our diocese designated as a pilgrimage site during this Jubilee Year.

Please join us if you are able to celebrate the Eucharist on the eve of the pope's funeral Mass in Rome.

This special Mass will be in addition to our already scheduled daily Friday Masses at 8am, and at 12:05pm.
