Dr. Paula M. Kane will give a talk titled, "Culture Creators or Culture Warriors: Catholics and Contemporary Society" via Zoom on Thursday, March 25 at 7:00 pm.
Dr. Kane holds the John and Lucine O’Brien Marous Chair in Catholic Studies in the Department of Religious Studies at the University of Pittsburgh, with a joint appointment in the Department of History. She researches and teaches American religious history with a specialization in modern Catholicism, religion and the arts and religion and media.
Her presentation is part of the St. Jude Speaker Series, Sharing the Light, which provides an opportunity to learn about important matters that relate to both our Church and to society around us. This series is intended to stimulate our audience, to generate questions and to engage in lively discussion with Catholic experts, knowledgeable on the matters being presented.
