In Susa, the young and timid Esther is raised by her beloved relative, Mordecai. Courted by the dashing Naphtali and beloved by all her people, her whole life is thrown into turmoil when King Ahasuerus seeks a bride. Meanwhile, the king’s trusted adviser, Haman, harbors a secret hatred while his cunning wife plans her own vengeance for spurned love. Witness a love story gone awry as Esther seeks to make sense of God’s plan! Encounter a people wrestling with suffering, pain, and despair, a lonely girl called to be a hero, and a few bumbling individuals trying to make sense of life’s madness! Come and be inspired by this story of hope in the midst of darkness! Perhaps this story was made for just such a time as ours!
