The Mission Office is the local office in the Diocese of Pittsburgh for the Pontifical Mission Societies in the United States. This supports the 1,100 struggling mission dioceses around the world. The Pontifical Mission Societies are institutions of the universal Catholic Church and of each local church. National offices exist in more than 120 countries around the world including the United States in New York City.
