Students in the sixth, seventh, and eighth grades at Saints Peter and Paul School in Beaver, PA will participate in online learning this week. The school was notified that a staff member tested positive for COVID-19. Out of an abundance of caution, administrators made the decision to move the students online through Friday, January 29, 2021, and return to in-person learning Monday, February 1, 2021.
The school has continued to follow all local, state, and federal guidelines and health and safety protocols.
In a note to parents, principal Cindy Baldrige said, “Even though we have been following all guidelines and cleaning repeatedly, we are unable to hide from this virus.” She went on to share, “To date we have not had a case of a student spreading the virus to another student in school.”
