Administrative Assistant – Department of Pre-Ordination Formation
Applications are now being accepted for the position of Administrative Assistant in the Department of Pre-Ordination Formation in the Diocese of Pittsburgh. This is a full-time position located at Saint Paul Seminary (Green Tree area). This position provides administrative assistant support for the Director of the Office of Priestly Vocations while aiding in the promotion of Vocations through the use of advertising and coordinating events and programs while using organizational, problem-solving, technical, interpersonal, event planning, and communication skills. This position also assists the administrative needs of the Pre-Ordination Formation Program and Saint Paul Seminary - including the Rector/Director, Vice-Rector, Apostolic Works Coordinator, Spiritual Director, and the Director of Pastoral Formation.
Qualifications for the Administrative Assistant position include:
High School Degree or equivalent;
Minimum of three (3) years’ of administrative office experience;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, social media platforms, video editing, WordPress, Photoshop, and Flocknote;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Excellent organizational skills;
Attention to detail and problem solving skills;
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures;
Proactive attitude that focuses on creating ideas and plans for correcting issues and handling daily tasks with the ability to multitask and set priorities;
Ability to protect confidential information.
