Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf announced today that all schools in the state will remain closed for the rest of the 2019-2020 academic year. In accordance with that directive, Catholic schools within the Diocese of Pittsburgh will remain closed, as well.
Although school buildings are closed, online learning experiences for those in grades K-12 will continue to be provided.
“Our commitment to our students and families remains unchanged, as high schools and elementary schools across the diocese continue to focus on faith formation and continuity of learning,” said Michelle Peduto, Director of Catholic Schools.
More detailed information will be available to families after the Easter break, Peduto said.
