The Reverend Samuel J. Esposito is appointed to serve as a part-time Parish Consultant in the Secretariat for Parish Services, effective Monday, February 3, 2025. At the same time, Father Esposito maintains his assignment as Chaplain of the Felician Sisters Motherhouse, Coraopolis.
PAROCHIAL VICAR
The Reverend Pierre Marie France, with the permission of the Most Reverend Pierre-Andre Dumas, Bishop of the Diocese of Anse-à-Veau and Miragoâne, is appointed Parochial Vicar of Saint Andrew the Apostle Parish, Charleroi/Donora/Monongahela, effective Friday, November 1, 2024.
At the presentation of the Very Reverend Robert Marva, OFM Cap., Provincial Minister of the Capuchin Franciscan Friars, Reverend Paul Zaborowski, O.F.M. Cap., is appointed Parochial Vicar of Saint Pio of Pietrelcina Parish, Bloomfield/Garfield/Lawrenceville, effective Monday, November 18, 2024.
CHAPLAIN
The Reverend Malin Fernando, with the permission of His Eminence, Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith, Archbishop of the Diocese of Colombo, Sri Lanka, is appointed Parish Chaplain of Holy Spirit Parish, Lawrence County, and Jamieson Hospital, New Castle, effective Monday, December 2, 2024.
The Reverend Christopher Perera, with the permission of His Eminence, Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith, Archbishop of the Diocese of Colombo, Sri Lanka, is appointed Chaplain to UPMC Passavant Hospital, McCandless and AHN Wexford Hospital, Wexford, with residence at Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish, effective Monday, December 2, 2024.

The Reverend Anton Premalal, with the permission of His Eminence, Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith, Archbishop of the Diocese of Colombo, Sri Lanka, is appointed Sacramental Minister to the Nursing Homes in the territory of Saint Catherine Labouré Parish, South Park/Upper Saint Clair, and Resurrection Parish, Bethel Park/Upper Saint Clair, with residence at Resurrection Parish, effective Monday, December 2, 2024.
RELEASED FROM ASSIGNMENT
The Reverend Lawrence D. Adams is released from his appointment as Associate General Secretary for Special Projects, effective Wednesday, January 1, 2025. Father Adams will remain Pastor of Saint Mary Magdalene Parish, East End/Point Breeze/Wilkinsburg.
The Reverend Kenneth E. Kezmarsky is released from his appointment as part-time Senior Parochial Vicar at Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish, Monroeville/Penn Hills, effective Wednesday, January 1, 2025. Father Kezmarsky will remain Chaplain at UPMC East and Forbes Regional Hospitals, Monroeville.
LEAVE OF ABSENCE
At his request, the Reverend Jack E. Demnyan is relieved of his responsibilities as a Consultant to the Department of Canonical Services and from pastoral ministry at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, effective Saturday, November 16, 2024. At the same time, Father Demnyan has been granted permission to begin a six-month leave of absence for personal reasons.

Hartle, effective Friday, November 15, 2024. At the same time, Deacon Bursic will continue to assist in the Ministry of Sacrament and the Ministry of Word at Holy Family Parish, Oakmont/Plum/Verona, under the direction of the Pastor, the Reverend Kevin G. Poecking, and in the Ministry of Service and Charity to the Diocesan Office of Evangelization, under the direction of Bishop William J. Waltersheid.
Deacon Clifford M. Homer from Ministry of Service and Charity to Catholic Charities to Ministry of Service and Charity at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, Observatory Hill/ Perrysville/Ross/West View, under the direction of the Pastor, the Reverend John R. Pikula is granted permission to retire from diaconal assignment at Saints Joachim and Anne Parish, Elizabeth/Glassport/South Allegheny Area, effective Saturday, November 30, 2024.
