Due to four positive COVID cases and staffing considerations, Divine Mercy Academy (Monroeville) transitioned to remote learning today, and will resume in-person instruction
on Monday, March 15, 2021.
According to school policy, all athletic practices and games are suspended until in-person instruction resumes.
School families were notified of the situation and will be updated as necessary through regular channels of communication.
The situation has no impact on events at Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish.
Consistent with CDC guidelines, all school buildings are regularly cleaned and sanitized. In addition, Divine Mercy Academy continues to follow all diocesan, local, state, and federal health and safety directives, including wearing face coverings, handwashing/sanitizing, social distancing, screening procedures, and cleaning/disinfecting.
"We are so thankful for the understanding and flexibility of our families while we navigate through this difficult time,” said Angela Manchini, principal. “We understand how stressful these situations are for everyone involved. Our top priority remains the health and safety of our students, families, and staff. Thank you for your continued support and prayers.”
