Executive Assistant to Sr VP, Operations & VP, Finance/Business Development This position serves as the primary administrative point of contact for the Senior Vice President of Operations and the Vice President for Finance and Business Development. This position requires superior professional administrative skills with a strong interpersonal communications aptitude, proficient computer literacy, critical thinking, customer service orientation, and a collaborative ability to interface with all University personnel. The incumbent must possess the ability to: exercise good judgment in establishing priorities, make decisions and problem solve in a timely manner, adjust to a changing work environment, adhere to policies and business ethics, and maintain confidential information with discretion. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse population, both independently and within a team environment is essential. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Manage multiple administrative tasks and projects across two separate cabinet level divisions at once and adept at working in high volume, fast-paced, outcome goal-oriented atmosphere. Oversee complex processes including the calendars for both cabinet members, provide complete oversight for the respective university Board of Trustee committee meetings, assist in the oversight of the University’s contract administration process, maintain the Carlow policies portal page, and provide periodic administrative assistance to the respective divisions. Serves as the administrative support for the University Policy Committee. Demonstrate proficiency in oral and written communications to include report writing and packaging, draft editing, and preparing memos and office communications. Organize and manage multiple calendars using Microsoft Outlook. MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s Degree 7 years of professional office administration experience supporting a C-Suite level executive. Experience in a higher education environment is preferred, as is an understanding of finance and operational divisions. Why Carlow University?
