Bishop Zubik announces the following clergy appointments: senior parochial vicar, released from assignment, administrative leave.


SENIOR PAROCHIAL VICAR  

The Reverend R. Michael Ackerman is appointed as Senior Parochial Vicar at Resurrection Parish, Bethel Park/Upper St. Clair and part-time chaplain to the students at Seton-LaSalle High School effective Monday, January 17, 2022.  At the same time, Fr. Ackerman is relieved of his assignment as Senior Parochial Vicar at Saint Kilian and Holy Sepulcher Parishes, Adams/Cranberry/Glade Mills.


RELEASED FROM ASSIGNMENT

The Reverend Anthony R. Sciarappa is relieved of his assignment as part-time chaplain to the students at Seton-LaSalle High School effective Monday, January 17, 2022.  At the same time, Fr. Sciarappa will maintain his assignment as Parochial Vicar at St. Michael the Archangel Parish, Mount Lebanon/Scott. 


ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE

The Reverend Daniel T. Straughn has been placed on an administrative leave of absence from priestly ministry, effective December 14, 2021 and is relieved of his responsibilities as Senior Parochial Vicar at Mary, Queen of Peace Parish.
