The Reverend Aleksandr J. Schrenk from Parochial Vicar at Saint Raphael the Archangel Parish, Carnegie/Greentree/Scott and Chaplain for Bishop Canevin High School, to full-time studies in Canon Law, effective Monday, May 29, 2023.
The Reverend Jack E. Demnyan from Parochial Vicar at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, Observatory Hill/Perrysville/Ross/West View, to full-time studies in Canon Law, effective Monday, July 3, 2023.
Released from assignment
The Reverend John L. McKenna from Senior Parochial Vicar at Saint Aidan Parish, Wexford, effective Monday, January 30, 2023. At the same time, Father McKenna will continue in his assignment as part-time Chaplain to the Sisters of Divine Providence and the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth with residence at the Sisters of Divine Providence Motherhouse.

At the presentation of the Very Reverend Robert Marva, O.F.M., Cap., Provincial Minister, the Reverend John Harvey, OFM, Cap., is appointed Senior Parochial Vicar at Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Beaver/Freedom/New Brighton/Rochester, effective Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

The Reverend Hugh J. Lang from Administrative Leave to full retirement with full faculties, effective Thursday, January 19, 2022 with residence at Saint John Vianney Manor.
Deacon
Deacon Brian M. Podobnik to Ministry of Sacrament, Ministry of Word, and Ministry of Service and Charity at Saint Oscar Romero Parish on a Pro-Tem basis for a period of six months. At the same time, Deacon Podobnik is relieved of his assignment at Corpus Christi Parish, Bridgeville/Cecil, effective Monday, January 9, 2023.
Deacon retirement
In accordance with the provisions of the Deacon Personnel Policy and with the recommendation of the Clergy Personnel Board, Deacon Thomas J. O’Neill is granted permission to retire from diaconal assignment to the Ministry of Sacrament, Ministry of Word, and Ministry of Service and Charity at Saint Teresa of Kolkata Parish, Beechview/Brookline, effective Monday, January 23, 2023.
In accordance with the provisions of the Deacon Personnel Policy and with the recommendation of the Clergy Personnel Board, Deacon Joseph R. Vannucci is granted permission to retire from diaconal assignment to the Ministry of Sacrament and Ministry of Word at Holy Family Parish, Oakmont/ Plum/Verona, effective Monday, January 23, 2023.
In accordance with the provisions of the Deacon Personnel Policy and with the recommendation of the Clergy Personnel Board, Deacon William H. Carver is granted permission to retire from diaconal assignment to the Ministry of Sacrament and Ministry of Word at Holy Sepulcher Parish, Glade Mills, and Saint Kilian Parish, Adams/Cranberry Township, effective Monday, January 23, 2023.
