June 6, 2024Maintenance/Janitorial Position at Saint Aidan Parish. Full-time (35+) Responsibilities: Provide maintenance and janitorial service to all parish facilities as assigned. May perform various routine maintenance and repairs based on skill level and experience. Also performs custodial duties including, but not limited to, cleaning services (e.g. trash removal, mopping, vacuuming, restroom cleaning, etc.) Electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills are a plus.
Qualifications: Candidate must pass the Diocese of Pittsburgh Safe Environment and Governmental Background Clearances. Must have a valid PA Driver’s License.

Key Responsibilities:- Basic maintenance of parish buildings and equipment
- Set-up & clean-up of church halls for various parish events
- Custodial duties such as mopping, trash removal ● Position will require travel to both church campuses.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must receive the Diocese of Pittsburgh’s Safe Environment Clearances
- Ability to lift, carry, or move heavy items
- Plumbing, electrical, and carpentry experience is preferred
- Ability to follow instructions given by the Facilities Manager
