Members of the North Catholic High School (Cranberry Twp.) boys volleyball team will move to remote learning due to an individual associated with the team testing positive for COVID-19. Pre-season volleyball practices are not mandatory. The entire team is not impacted.
According to updated CDC guidelines, students could return to the classroom in eight days providing they have received a negative COVID test and are not experiencing any symptoms.
North Catholic continues to follow all local, state, federal and diocesan COVID health and safety protocols including mask-wearing, social-distancing, and cleaning and sanitizing protocols.
“In this difficult time we appreciate the open lines of communication and everyone’s willingness to work together. There has been a unified approach from our teachers, parents and students as we move through this pandemic,” said John Benzing, assistant principal.
