Saints Martha and Mary Parish, consisting of St. Catherine of Sweden (Allison Park) and St. Richard (Gibsonia) Churches, is seeking a Part-Time Safe Environment Coordinator. Person will work out of the Parish offices. Works closely with pastor and other key staff (i.e., catechetical administrator, youth minister, pastoral associate) to ensure that anyone who is employed or volunteering in the parish/school has completed all required training and attained necessary clearances.
Job Requirements- Must be a fully initiated Catholic in good standing.
- High School Diploma or Equivalency.
- Over 21 years of age.
- Able to successfully complete Safe Environment requirements.
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to enter and retrieve information from an internet-based computer database.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of clearance forms (i.e. PA State Police Criminal Record Check, DHS Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI Fingerprint Clearance).
- Ability to understand the policies and procedures of the Diocese of Pittsburgh and be able to explain them to others.
