Part-time Youth Minister Position Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Beaver, PA
Part-time Youth Minister
Responsibilities:
Serve the high school youth through prayer, study, retreats, service projects, social events, fundraising, and trips/pilgrimages. The youth minister is expected to visit the local High Schools to encourage participation. This person is also expected to interact with Sts. Peter & Paul School and our middle school program to recruit those in 8^th grade and help them transition into High School Youth Ministry.
Qualifications:

Strong adult faith-formation and ability to convey the faith.
A college degree and/or certification in youth ministry is required.
Excellent recruiter of youth, dynamic personality in terms of attracting youth.
A love for youth and ability to relate well with them, in touch with the times.
Highly skilled in current technology to connect with youth.
Available to work primarily evenings and weekends.
Complete Diocesan Safe Environment requirements.
