South Regional Catholic Elementary Schools, Inc. is seeking a faith-filled, enthusiastic, qualified, experienced administrator for the position of Regional Superintendent in the South Regional Schools.

An applicant for this position must be a practicing Catholic with a clear understanding of the Catholic philosophy of education and Catholic school mission; hold a Master’s Degree in Education; and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Principal Certificate required. The applicant should have demonstrated skills in providing spiritual and educational leadership for Catholic elementary schools. In addition, the applicant should possess the proven ability to successfully manage and provide administration and coordination of multiple schools which lead to excellence in Catholic education and Catholic values. Applicant should exhibit knowledge and skills in effective educational leadership, strategic planning, change leadership, management, human resource, and customer service.
The Regional Superintendent will be expected to be highly visible in the schools of the assigned region, create operational processes, plan and coordinate programs for schools, conduct school observations, assist, advise, evaluate principals, and supervise regional staff. In addition, the role requires the management of issues of a non-academic nature including building maintenance, finance, human relations, transportation, parent communication, food service, and any other management issue. The Regional Superintendent values the organization and helps the Region to fulfill the Church’s mission and purpose. The Regional Superintendent reports to the Superintendent of Catholic Schools. Salary is negotiable based on experience, education and credentials. Benefits include health insurance and retirement.
