Due to a second positive COVID case, in an abundance of caution and in compliance with CDC and state guidelines, Saint Wendelin School (Butler) began virtual instruction Friday, March 19, 2021, and will continue through Friday, March 26, 2021. In-person learning will resume Monday, March 29, 2021.
Previously scheduled virtual parent/teacher conferences will still be held.
Consistent with CDC guidelines, all buildings are regularly cleaned and sanitized. In addition, the school continues to follow all diocesan, local, state, and federal health and safety directives, including wearing face coverings, handwashing/sanitizing, social distancing, self-screening, and cleaning/disinfecting protocols.
In a note to parents, principal JoLynn Clouse said, “As always, thank you all so much for the understanding and confidence you have placed in Saint Wendelin School. This is yet another obstacle that we will conquer through cooperation and prayer. We are grateful to be able to return to in-person instruction for Holy Week. God will shine his light upon us all and protect us during this most holy of weeks.”
