Job Description:
We are seeking a cafeteria manager to oversee the cafeteria and lunch process while working with staff and volunteers to serve consistent and nutritious meals to students and staff in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness and warmth while helping to advance the mission and vision of St. Louise de Marillac Catholic School.
Duties:

• Work with the Regional Cafeteria Supervisor to coordinate the purchase and distribution of food.
• Create and update the school lunch menu.
• Oversee the cafeteria budget and meal purchasing process to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Participate in the serving and preparation of food.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety and cleanliness in the kitchen according to the guidelines established by Allegheny County Health Department, U.S.D.A. and assist in the daily cleaning and sanitation of kitchen equipment, dishes, and utensils.
• 
  Use proper procedures with receiving and storage of groceries and kitchen supplies.
• Maintain a good working relationship with parents, students, and other staff and faculty.
• Report to the Principal any faulty or inferior quality food which is received.
• Maintain high standards of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
• Has regular and predictable attendance. ● Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 21 years of age
• Appropriate Food Handler Permit
• Completed safe environment training and background check
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid PA Driver's License

Job Requirements:

• Ability to move, load, and unload equipment and supplies weighing 35 pounds or more
• Ability to work independently and without direct supervision
