Part-Time Position

Job Overview:

Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic School is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Spanish Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a passionate individual responsible for teaching students in grades K-8 and will have a proven track record of success in the classroom. The position will begin on August 19, 2024.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum standards and encourage Spanish language and cultural growth.
• Adhere to and promote the values of the Catholic Church.
• Work collaboratively with other faculty members to create a positive learning environment.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their work.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• Valid PA Teaching Certifications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Knowledge and understanding of the Spanish language and culture
