Participates in the serving and preparation of food.
Maintains the highest standards of safety and cleanliness in the kitchen according to the guidelines established by Alleghany County Health Department, U.S.D.A., and the Cafeteria Manager.
Uses proper procedures with receiving and storage of groceries and kitchen supplies.
Maintains a good working relationship with parents and students.
Maintains a healthy atmosphere with all fellow employees. Communicates effectively with other employees, creating productivity and satisfaction in the workplace.
Follows Food Service Dress Code Policy.
Reports to the Principal any faulty or inferior quality food which is received.
Assists in the daily cleaning and sanitation of kitchen, equipment, dishes and utensils.
Maintains high standards of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
Has regular and predictable attendance.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
21 years of age
Appropriate Food Handler Permit
Completed safe environment training and background check
High school diploma or GED
Valid PA Driver's License
Job Requirements:
Ability to move, load, and unload equipment and supplies weighing 35 pounds or more
Ability to work independently and without direct supervision
Able to bend, stoop, squat and reach
