Statement from Bishop David Zubik for Memorial Day

As we observe Memorial Day, we keep close in thought and prayer the souls of the brave women and men who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the United States military. We can never repay them for sacrificing their lives for our country. We see that same sacrificial love pouring from Jesus’ heart on the cross. May we pray and work for world peace, treating everyone we meet as a child of God.
