Wellness Care Shift Supervisor – Saint John Vianney Manor
Applications are now being accepted for the position of Wellness Care Shift Supervisor in the Secretariat for Clergy and Consecrated Life of the Diocese of Pittsburgh. This is a full-time, exempt position located at Saint John Vianney Manor.
This position assists in identifying and responding to the holistic health related needs of the priest community at St. John Vianney Manor. The position also serves as a coordinator of health related services. The Wellness Care Shift Supervisor articulates the relationship of health of mind, body, and spirit in the program and is the program’s liaison with the priest residents at St. John Vianney Manor in the absence of the Wellness Care Coordinator.
Qualifications for the Wellness Care Shift Supervisor position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing;
Registered nurse (RN) preferred;
LPN or Nurse Case Manager with applicable experience;
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania license;
Three (3) years-experience in wellness and/or as a healthcare educator/coach;
Experience acting as an advocate on healthcare;
Understanding of the Roman Catholic Church;
Knowledge of the mission of the Diocese of Pittsburgh;
Office management or nurse charting skills;
Have outstanding people skills, desire, and aptitude to improve overall health of target population;
Communication skills: interpersonal, telephone, and written;
Organized, with good time management, professional, service-oriented, and flexible;
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, exercising courtesy to supervisors, staff, residents, and visitors;
Must be proficient Microsoft Office Suite;
Ability to protect confidential information.
