Days/Week: Monday – Friday (Sat/Sun as necessary)

Job Summary
The Youth and Young Adult Ministry Leader oversees the many evangelization and ministry efforts that bring people in their 20s and 30s into relationship with Jesus Christ as well as coordinates evangelization and ministry efforts to young people and their families in middle school (6th - 8th grade) and high school (9th - 12th grade).

The Youth and Young Adult Ministry Leader has a magnetic passion for Jesus Christ and His Church which is marked by deep faith, personal integrity, prudence, insight, enthusiasm, compassion, and a joyful spirit. The Young Adult Ministry Leader must have a deep knowledge of the Millennial experience and be able to deal with and understand the spiritual questions, confusion, and pain of others. The Youth and Young Adult Ministry Leader is able to help people develop and steward their own gifts and is gifted in building and motivating teams of adult and youth volunteers.

The Youth and Young Adult Minister is responsible for designing, organizing, and implementing effective strategies for sharing the Gospel with youth and young adults in the parish, who are unchurched, and reaches out to the inactive and alienated members of the Catholic community.
